Mesta Park

Bordered by Western Avenue on the west and Walker Avenue on the East, Mesta Park spans from 16th Street north to 22nd. It also contains a small peninsula on the east side as it extends down 22nd street all the way to Robinson. Mesta Park was developed in stages, largely between 1906 and 1930. G.A. Nichols built many houses in the Prairie, Foursquare, Craftsman and other styles popular in the early 20th century, and also planted many of the trees that now characterize the graceful streets.
